Born in Kingston Jamaica, Mona to be exact, I started playing and fooling around with congas at around 7 years old. I competed in several competitions for group drumming, won several medals and accolades around the island, then performed live with Dennis Rushton and friends in Jamaica. Fast forward to 2014 when my family migrated to Canada, I started playing in church and also jazz bands around the city. I continued to learn and build my sound.
Now I’m in Melafrique and bring an amazing amount of love and appreciation for several different types of genres of music that have formed me into the musician I am today.
